Angle:

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2*(width) + 2*(length) = 30 (1/2)*(length) = (width)

princeevee:

wait, what?

Angle:

That's the information you're given: "perimeter of a rectangular field is 30 meters" -> Perimeter of Rectangle = 2*(width) + 2*(length) = 30 "width is one-half the length" -> (1/2)*(length) = (width)

Angle:

in more "mathy" equations it looks like this 2W + 2L = 30 and (1/2)L = W

Angle:

You can plug in W = (1/2)L into 2W + 2L = 30

princeevee:

oh, alright
