Need help on this problem;
4x + 8x = 9 - 6x
I keep getting x = 2 but the answer book says its x = 1/2

Yes.
4x + 8x = 9 - 6x
12x = 9 - 6x
+6x +6x
18x = 9

Its fine, soo... omg im an idiot. Okay i see how it is 1/2 because 18/18 is 1 and 9/18 is 2
