Oh ok for the first one, I think we mixed up the 96 and the 60. We were supposed to add by 96 and subtract by 60, but we accidentally subtracted by 96 and added by 60

For the second one, multiplication/division comes before addition/subtraction. So first, you'd divide 10 by 5, then you'd add.
