you have a 2 x 3 and a 3 x 1 being multiplied in that order so your final solution should be a 2 x 1 matrix (taking the outer dimensions)

first we take the first row of H and the first column of J

and multiply 3(4) + (-1)(2) + (-2)(5) Basically you are multiplying corresponding terms and adding the result
the result will be the first number in the solution matrix

then repeat this process w/ the second row of H and the first column of I to get the second # in the solution matrix
