brown:

Renald completed only one trial of his experiment. What effect will this most likely have?

SmokeyBrown:

Hi brown, and welcome to QuestionCove! The main purpose of performing multiple trials for an experiment is to increase the reliability that the results of the experiment actually represent predictable behavior, rather than just random chance. In that sense, only performing one trial will lower the reliability of the results and increase the margin or error for the experiment.
