Hanna:

Chemistry help please!? I just need someone to help me double check my answers. I have a 26% in this class.

Shadow:

Post the question. @JustSaiyan @kittybasil @bm717 @Vocaloid are your chem people.

JustSaiyan:

How unfortunate.

Hanna:

This is one of my questions....

Shadow:

Do you know what organic means?

Hanna:

Not really. I know that there is organic food that's all

Shadow:

That's a key hint. Organic is life based. So organic food is plants and animals. The reason why you've heard of 'organic food' is because people like to know that they aren't eating something made in a lab.

Hanna:

Oh okay so it would be biochemist?

Shadow:

Well, Google tells us that chemistry further defines organic as something that is carbon based, included with the definition of life based material. So the question is, does oxygen contain carbon?

Hanna:

No. So inorganic chemist

Shadow:

Correct

Hanna:

Thank you!

Hanna:

Will you help me with more please?

Shadow:

No problem

Shadow:

Studying for a test so tag others first. If they don't know I'll step in.

JustSaiyan:

IT'S MY TURN NOW SHADOW.

Hanna:

Okay thank you

Hanna:

Am I right....?

JustSaiyan:

Hmm. If you put a circle block in a square hole, does that make the circle block a square?

JustSaiyan:

Liquid will take the form of whatever container it's place in.

JustSaiyan:

If you put liquid in a square box, it will not be in a sphere.

Hanna:

So solid?

JustSaiyan:

Yes. It retains it's shape and size in different containers, which both liquid and Gas would not.

Hanna:

Would it be A.) since he is studding it

JustSaiyan:

Well the deduction is a little unorthodoxed, but the answer is correct. He would be like the science version of a food critic. Sort of.

Hanna:

Okay

Hanna:

Thank you

JustSaiyan:

You're welcome.

Hanna:

@JustSaiyan can you help me with this one too?

1 attachment
JustSaiyan:

No.

JustSaiyan:

Just kidding, hold on.

Hanna:

It would be change shape right?

JustSaiyan:

Yes. It changes only the appearance, not the substance itself.

Hanna:

Okay thank you

JustSaiyan:

I was looking at the wrong questions just now, I started to post a response to tell you that the same image was posted, but I realized I didn't close my last tab.

Hanna:

Lol

Hanna:

I'm sorry for asking so many questions but I have to brig this grade up so if you don't mind helping me a few more times that would be awesome.

JustSaiyan:

Well first, you'd need to what atoms make it up. 1 hydrogen atom, 1 carbon atom, 1 sodium atom, and 3 oxygen atoms are in one molecule of Sodium Bicarbonate. So in 3, there would be 3 hydrogen atoms, 3 carbon atoms, 3 sodium atoms, and 9 oxygen atoms.

JustSaiyan:

That would mean the sum of the oxygen atoms (which is 9) would be equal to the sum of the sodium, hydrogen, and carbon atoms. 3+3+3=9. D would be the answer.

Hanna:

Thank you so much!!

JustSaiyan:

You're welcome.

Hanna:

JustSaiyan:

The correct answer would be A. All you need to know is that a chemical reaction rearranges or completely changes the atoms in a molecule, and then the definitions of Endothermic and Exothermic. Endothermic means it absorbs heat. Exothermic means it gives off heat.

Hanna:

I didn't see you typed that the site kinda froze on me. But thank you so much!! Really hope this helps my grade!

bm717:

Ouu damn he mentioned me. Sexy.

bm717:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @JustSaiyan How unfortunate. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) WHOEVER BANNED ME, ISNT THIS 'You have been warned: Posting meaningless comments that do not add value to the thread discussion.' AS WELL HOE

JustSaiyan:

It wasn't meaningless, since I was talking to shadow, who deleted every other response before it.
