I can do this
so here's what I did... (7x^2y^3 + 5x^3y^2 - 3y^3) - (-6x^3y^2 - 4x2^y^3 + y^3) Being that there are two negatives we would do -6x^3y^2 x -1, -4x2^y3 x -1, and y^3 x -1? right? >~<
I’ll send you a pic when I solve this
okie dokie, I messed up somewhere though o.o
I got 11x^2y^3 + 11x^3y^2 - 4y^3
How
(7x^2y^3 + 5x^3y^2 - 3y^3) - (-6x^3y^2 - 4x^2y^3 + y^3) I multiplied (-6x^3y^2 - 4x^2y^3 + y^3) = (6x^3y^2 + 4x^2y^3 -y^3). Then I combined de like terms and added. 7x^2y^3 + 4x^2y^3 = 11x^2y^3. 5x^3y^2 + 6x^3y^2 = 11x^3y^2. And -3y^3 + -y^3 = -4y^3. Then I connected them all together and got 11x^2y^3 + 11x^3y^2 - 4y^3.
Do you get how I did it?
nu
Damn
._. how did you get the first part: 3x^2y^3
I’m soooo sorry I’m a horrible teacher
no no its fine haha
I’m sorry 😢😭
don't be, at least you tried ^_^!
😭😭😭
So do you understand that a - (-b) = a + b
Like let's start with the basics
And then just pay attention to the units. You can't add apples and oranges. so like x^2y^3 make that an orange and just add all the oranges x^3y^2 is an apple and y^3 is a banana like don't get confused between the exponents
Wait, I do 7x^2y^3 + 4x^2y^3 + -y^3 >~<?
Yes, but you dropped a lot of the other numbers but that 7 and 4 both have oranges!! o; which means you can add them That y^3 is a banana and banana and oranges definitely don't add
I've honestly never taught it this way like using oranges and banana that it makes me sound really crazy but whatever helps you get the point to not add the wrong stuff together
Ah okie ouo so 7x^2y^3 + 4x^2y^3? And nu I like the idea
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
