How do I get a girl to love me....

seriously another one of my favorite crushes is getting hit on and I'm getting depressed again. I just want to know what qualities do girls usually like to see in boys (and don't say 'be yourself' because I've heard that ton of times and it DOES NOT WORK). I would never ask this question to a friend in real life since it'll make things awkward between us.

The thing is, I don't know how much she appreciates me. I know she appreciates me VERY much as a FRIEND, and she told me that she doesn't like it when other guys touch her but she 'doesn't want to be mean to them' See this is where it gets confusing to me, and it makes things worse when I haven't received a text message from her, like I have no idea and I really want to ask her out but I'm terrified AF
