Looting during the hurricane:

After hurricane florence damaged some buildings in a neighborhood. People went to a local (Family Dollar) store and started to 'loot' it.

What do you agree with:
(1) The people are right to take the stuff since they've suffered from the hurricane and are in need of help.

(2) The people are not right to take the stuff since they didn't pay for it and it's stealing from the store.

I've seen both of these arguments in the comment section of facebook xd and they both sound convincing.
