The distance from A to B is 143mi.,and from B to C on another road is 57mi.The distance from A to D is 143mi,and from D to E on another is 57mi. Compare the distance from A to C by the way of B with the distance from A to E by the way of D

Well, ususally this would require simple calculations. All you would have to do, i believe is add the distances from A to B and B to C, thus making it A to C. What would you get?
