lexxii:

A small airplane flies at a velocity of 145 km/h toward the south as observed by a person on the ground. The airplane pilot measures an air velocity of 172 km/h an hour. What is the velocity of the wind that affects the plane? I just need someone to check to see if I am right v=172-145 =27 kmh/h

lexxii:

@Shadow

Shadow:

That would make sense

Shadow:

Make sure to give the direction of the wind. It is asking for the velocity, not the speed.

Shadow:

As we know, velocity has direction.

lexxii:

Alright thank you!!!
