jasonmitchell:

Each step of cellular respiration produces a "net" amount of ATP. In glycolysis, ____ net ATP are produced. In the Krebs cycle, 2 net ATP are produced. In the electron transport chain, ___ net ATP are produced. A. 32; 2 B. 2; 32 C. 36; 2 D. 2; 36

Shadow:

It’s between B and D. My source says 34 and fortunately I don’t remember this from bio.

Nnesha:

Glycolysis required 2 atp in order to process, and it produces 4 atp we have 2 atp back that we used so net atp will be `2` and 2 NADH Kreb cycle produces 2 atp, 10 NADH and 2 FADH2 through Electron transport chain electrons are transferred to generate ATP 8 NADH and 2 FADH2 go through electron and give us ATP 1 NADH= 3 atp 1 FADH2 =2 atp since we have total of 10 NADH so 10*3 will give 30 ATP and 2 FADH2 so 2*2=4 atp so 30+4= `34 ATP`
