Advantages: Inexpensive. Businesses and users requiring small networks can use peer-to-peer as an economical choice. Disadvantages: Lack of centralized administration—user access and security settings have to be configured on each individual computer. Designed for networks with one to ten computers only— businesses and users requiring larger networks cannot use peer-to-peer.
