A white couple wanted a baby but the husband had 'problems' so they needed a sperm from the sperm bank, and the baby needs to be white. The sperm bank screwed up and gave them a sperm from a black donor, while saying that it was from a white donor. When the baby gets born and it turns out it was black, the parents sued the sperm bank. This was a real court case. Now then, I'm using this example to try and justify why this is an argument that supports racial kinship (love for your race), but I'm trying not to be racist and I can't figure out a reason that would describe the couple as 'not racist'. Could you guys help?
Edit: I said the family's 'Cultural heritage and traditions of a white background' could be infringed. Traditional culture is still an important thing to preserve.
Holy crap I sound like the most racist person on earth rn but I swear I'm trying not to xd

Yes you are racist.
Jk by the way This deals with unconscious bias, if you have heard of it before. It's a psychological concept that encompasses the nurtured dispositions we have towards certain people due to their characteristics such as race.
If they're white and they want a white baby... that's not racist.
People like people who look like them. I see this every day in college. All the white girls hang out. All the Polynesians hang out. And so on...
It's a familiarity and the best way to make friends is to have similar traits and interests, and looking the same is indicative of this (as to show that they have had the same experiences).
