music for shadow and humans (tell me your favorite(s))
will start posting in a few hours (gotta go now)
Sounds good
I have listened to a couple of them so far. I'd definitely add most to my chill mix. I probably favor Stand By Me, Ben E King, 1961 the most at the moment. I can go through more of them tomorrow.
alright I'm trying to think of more
I came across this song a while back and he was one of the artists being recommended on the side. Bobby McFerrin - Good Lovin' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exp6HVNTyZw Either it will annoy you or make you smile (:
it is kinda annoying lol
I thought it would. You seem to have a very particular music taste, as if it were a pinpoint upon the collection of the musical arts.
American Pie is good (:
The movie however is another story.
never watched the movie
Can't help falling in love. That's a good one. x'D
I would try and use Brainly to find the correct answer cause I have no idea what you are talking about

nightcore battlefield
As with the last set I went through, about half would make it onto my chill mix. I did find one I'd put onto my daily (as I did with the Billy Joel songs), Starship - We Built This City
My daily playlist is the one I listen to in-between classes.
oof that song is rated as one of the worst ever
LMAO
cause of the lyrics lol
221k likes disagree w/you
a-ha - Take On Me This one on the daily too. Can you see the pattern here?
Also pretty sure I've heard it before multiple times, but never knew what song it was. Probably at a restaurant or something.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Built_This_City rolling stone readers rated it worst song of the '80s gq calls it the worst song ever
I like the tune, but the lyrics are awful
Lol maybe this is something I should voice then. I never pay attention to the lyrics.
yeah they make no sense
"too many runaways eating up the night"
I treat music as a background for my thoughts, which is why I favor more fast paced music that flows well.
you listened to all of them here ?
No, still making my way down.
which one are you at now
jailhouse rock is fast paced you might like that one
4 Non Blondes - What's Up Lol, I like it, but maybe only because I listened to the parodies. /jk It is real good, nice flow too. And she has a great voice.
Also, I'm not sure if this is similar for other people, but when I enjoy a song, I kind of lose consciousness of it.
Because a bad song just hammers on your eardrums and you want it to stop. But when the song is pleasant, it just melds with you instead of being in opposition to your senses.
yeah I guess lol
I don't know if I enjoy Bee Gees - Too Much Heaven just because I like Stayin Alive too. Same singers with great voices, but in a different display...
lol yeah the vocals in stayin alive are crazy
Do you know the name of the guy that looks like Jesus
meh nobody knows who jesus looks like
I mean the common depictions of him ._. c'mon bob lmao
robin gibb
they were all brothers
barry gibb is the last one
Yeah it's Barry
He's the iconic voice in the group to be honest.
oh i didnt really know who you meant
yeah he's the main vocals guy
You were right, Jailhouse Rock is good stuff.
Boston - More Than A Feeling Ah, hell yeah (:
Medal only because I saw Presley. And Africa, ofc
Some of these other songs are pretty good as well. I ran through the list really fast x'D
Berlin - Take My Breath Away - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F4M6haOFtcE (One of my fave love songs)
Marina & the Diamonds - Starring Role (acoustic version) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYnE7Y7daYQ
I'm at: Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (Audio) Doing them in sequential order to give you an idea of where I'm at. I've heard it before, quite popular, and it's just that general epic song you need in your playlist.
yep
Bon Jovi - Livin' On A Prayer is kind of like Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (Audio) in that sense.
that one's good
and I found out about Ring of Fire through Devon Baldwin's version of it. I like both.
never heard of him
im scared to click, she's not an oldie
I mean no matter what, you have to appreciate how beautiful her voice is.
That one popped on autoplay the last time I was listening to your music. I heard the rendition before for Haiti, good stuff.
I got nostalgia because I watched that video as soon as it came out.
yeah it's amazing, the greatest singers ever all sing it
It came out in the '80s though
you're an old man
Lol I mean the rendition for Haiti
haiti is a mess, nobody can fix it
Bryan Adams - Summer Of '69 I can usually tell if I like a song based on it's beginning, this one followed that theme. Though to be honest, I'm pretty sure I've heard it before somewhere.
These songs are kind of predictable in what direction they go in.
yeah that one is popular
@Valirium Soft Cell - Tainted Love An unexpected pleasant surprise.
Frank Sinatra, My Way Another great chill song Scorpions - Wind Of Change One of the songs that I don't like particularly because of the 'sound' but more so the message. The lyrics along with the video go well.
The beginning of that song is infamous lol
Also, pretty sure I've seen gifs of this guy
george michael ?
Yeah
he had a famous christmas song "last christmas" ironically, he died on christmas
That's...startling
he aged terribly, must've had something to do with his sexuality lmao
What do you mean, was he gay?
yes
I mean, I didn't want to assume. But that makes sense
I think that was related to his death
mhm
Well it seems I am caught up. If I didn't comment on the song, odds are it was too slow, too country, or too much of an oldie song (I don't know how to characterize it). Typically the songs I enjoy are modern in some way, are more fast faced, and/or have some flow to it.
Like last Christmas just flows...
lol
that's on the radio every christmas
Yeah it's telling of how good it is.
Wait is that video available in China? Cause it isn't in the United States apparently, lol.
Dire Straits - Walk Of Life
just finished listening to it
That one works, the other link didn't
No idea why
yeah that one doesn't work
Out of all the ones you've posted so far, twelve have made it on my playlist, and then that one from Val.
which 12
The ones I pointed out.
Which is why I did so, as it helps give you an idea of what I like.
For some of these songs, it was quite interesting, as I've heard electronic renditions of them. Such as Ring of Fire and Forever Young.
we built this city stand by me american pie the longest time dont stop believin more than a feelin' my way jailhouse rock summer of 69
these ?
Stand By Me, Ben E King, 1961 American Pie Starship - We Built This City a-ha - Take On Me 4 Non Blondes - What's Up Bee Gees - Too Much Heaven Jailhouse Rock Boston - More Than A Feeling Journey - Don't Stop Believin' (Audio) Bryan Adams - Summer Of '69 Frank Sinatra, My Way Scorpions - Wind Of Change
nice
you don't like any slow songs ? lol
sometimes you need to stop and smell the flowers in life
I do, just not with lyrics I guess.
massachusetts take me home country roads carolina in my mind great american state songs
I mean lyrics are fine, they just don't flow well in my head. Coldplay - O (Fly On) - Extended https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAbDNUj8pxo Like this is a slow song, but it's a mixture of beautiful instrumentals and a wonderful voice that creates a well flowing song.
Slipknot - Psychosocial - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5abamRO41fE I'm only posting this song because I'm curious to see your reactions. xD
survivor- eye of the tiger is a good one
bohemian rhapsody is weird
@Shadow you'll like this one
