Hi and welcome to QuestionCove. I think the most important factor for getting a loan approved would be your past credit history. Mainly, how good you've been at handling loaned money in the past. Out of all of these, defaulting on a student loan would have the biggest negative impact on someone's credit history. As I've just learned, defaulting on a loan means that someone has completely failed to pay back the loan, to the point that legal action may be necessary.
