Why do some regions of the Moon and Mercury have fewer craters than others? A. These regions were not subject to as many impacts. B. Lava flooding buried the craters which were there. C. These regions had less volcanic activity.

Shadow:

I think it wasn't A and C since they relied on luck/chance. B makes sense since when you look at the Moon, you see those large dark spots which are lava plains, which covered up the craters.
