How do you function within these four modes of sleep: overslept (9+ hours), recommended (7-8), not much (2-6 hours), and none (0-1 hour)?
"Not much" seems to be my category. XD
I personally haven’t had 9+ in weeks or months so idk. Usually okay though. Recommended I feel in good shape mentally and the day goes well. On not much, I usually function the worst for some reason, as in being tired throughout the day. On no sleep I’m actually okay, mostly because I keep the adrenaline going from the night I suppose (I don’t drink coffee either).
Just curious how it is for other people.
Ultri gets -1 hours of sleep, probably.
Overslept: Tired, groggy Recommended: Functioning well Not much: Would have been better off not sleeping, as I cannot function throughout the day None: Only if it were actually none, I would be much better off going with no sleep then one hour of sleep, as I would not function throughout the day.
I've experienced all four modes of sleep and still feel like garbage. e.e Sleep is a waste. <\3
Oh that was the question. Oh ok. XD Overslept: Never getting up from the bed for another hour Recommended: Usually on weekends and Fridays, everything is usually fine. Not Much: Weekdays with education, i get used to it once the day of light comes up. x.x None: Hasn't happened much, but i will sleep through the day if i have to. XD
Going to study for myth class. Ty for the replies guys.
Overslept (9+ hours): Never slept this much Recommended (7-8): Still tired Not much (2-6 hours), and none (0-1 hour): Cranky
I don't function with anything below 4-3 hours Anything above 6 hours I can make it through the day And I can make it if I don't sleep at all (to go a little free form)
Overslept (9+ hours): I do this a lot. I usually wake up in a good mood, but end up feeling super bleh and with a headache. My eyes usually hurt too. Recommended (7-8): The usual moody. Not much (2-6 hours), and none (0-1 hour): "I'll cut your head off" or *literally crying my eyes out*. There is no in between.
Overslept (9+ hours): Only did it once, that was when I was younger and got in trouble for it. ._. Recommended (7-8): I'd still be tired and get annoyed easily. Not much (2-6 hours), and none (0-1 hour): Avoid people..But, at the same time actually try to be nice ._.
Hrm....it's literally all out of wack for meh. Overslept: I usually am still really tired, but sometimes I would be good for the day and actually complete my tasks for the days quite well, though when I do oversleep I tend to not sleep at night or for about 24 hours until the next day. Recommended: I rarely sleep the recommended hours, once in a blue moon I do but usually I am still very tired, and tend to take naps, in which causes meh to not sleep at night, then again ill wake up great with motivation to do what I need to do. Not much: Weirdly when I dont get much sleep I tend to be up for the whole day but my mind still isnt at its full alert which causes meh to do poorly in my work but sometimes it is awake for it. I usually tend to not eat at all if I sleep less than 5 hours. None: I can stay awake for more than 24 hours (one time I went about 2 days without sleep) though during that time my mind was not awake, my actions were slow but i was still conscious of things (should i say). The effect afterwards is horrible. Again I rarely eat when I sleep less than 5 hours. I would say I am un-healthy and very over stressed so it really influences on my sleep patterns and routine. Sometimes I do stay up on purpose (mostly for any celestial events or school work) other than that I try and not let myself sleep less than 4 hours, but I tend to only average at about 4-5 hours of sleep a day. Today I only slept about 6 hours and Im doing quite well right now.
The last time I've overslept, I remember feeling significantly even more tired than had I had woken up at the normal times I usually do. My whole body, and particularly my head, felt pretty heavy the whole day and I was pretty moody. Recommended...quite frankly I don't usually get 7-8 hours of sleep. I would think I would function the same way I would if I wake up from a 6 hours' rest. Maybe a little more energized? Not sure. I'd be in the "not much" category on a daily basis I suppose. My sleep usually ranges from 10:30-11:30 p.m. to 4:30-5:00 a.m. and I'd say I function pretty normally besides the occasional urge to take a 30 minute nap after lunch. The reason I wake up so "early" is to go out with my roommate for about an hour's worth of jogging around. All-nighters are something I have a feeling every college person goes through at least once if not a few times. The last time I did that, I could barely really function throughout the day without a big dose of coffee within reach. I had bloodshot eyes but with a 6 hour rest that night I woke up the next day functioning as normal.
Is it weird i function perfectly fine in all catagories?
