During his dream last night Herbie imagined he was able to fly and jumped off of the roof, flying around his home town. He awoke in his bed, and clearly had not moved all night. Why didn’t he try to fly with his body if his brain was so active? Question 12 options: a) Herbie was dreaming during REM sleep b) Dreams happen during the awake-aroused part of the sleep cycle c) Herbie does not experience sleep walking, and therefore has an abnormal sleep cycle d) Herbie's circadian rhythms kept him asleep
please help
@shadow I have an idea about this but just want a second opinion
Yeah his body would be paralyzed, which is something the body does so we don’t act out our dreams. Don’t have time to give this one much thought though but I think REM does that.
