sweetJ12:

The Sun is stable because the force of gravity is balanced by the thermal pressure created by the reactions in its core. The Sun will remain stable as long as there is a sufficient source of energy within the Sun. as long as the planets continue orbiting the Sun. as long as the gravity of Jupiter does not act on the Sun. as long as the outer surface of the Sun remains solid.

Shadow:

A feels like the best option since the other ones just seem silly. The sun doesn't need planets orbiting it (B) and Jupiter's gravity is acting upon the Sun (the same way that any person you walk by has gravity due to their mass that is acting upon you) and the Sun's surface is gas, as that is what stars are...hot balls of gas.
