review questions to study for midterm calc
@mhchen
How many questions do you have before I start helping you again?
15/16 I think last lesson of old curriculum and these are one I have not figured out if I figure it out then it will decrease
dang bro. okay well for the first picture. The graph approaches 2 at 0 from the left or 1 from the left. Which of the answer choices fit those?
c?
for the second question do I look at open hole for answer?
First one yes. I g2g to class now.
did you plug in each option's \(a\) value and check if it is continuous? maybe use a graphing calculator...
For the second problem. If you look at the graph at 0. It approaches to 2 different points. So the limit does not exist
|dw:1539642380382:dw| In both of these graphs there's a limit at 0. And no open holes doesn't mean that there's no limit. Open holes just means that there's a discontinuity. But this bottom one does not have a limit. Since the limit from the left is not the same as the limit from the right. |dw:1539642438350:dw|
For the 3rd Question. Find limit of f(x) when it goes to infinity and negative infinity. Then find the difference between them.
