how did space photography help astronomers?

My lecturer actually answered this in class yesterday. It helps them find objects in space, usually asteroids and comets as they are possible hazardous objects. They are typically nearby, within and just outside of our solar system.

That’s just one way it helps astronomers and the world. An asteroid doesn’t need to be that big to cause issues, and there are plenty large enough to make the one that took out the dinosaurs look like a puppy.
