Which three of the following best describe what would happen if mitosis did not take place? A. Organisms would be single-celled. B. Chromosomes would not duplicate. C. Asexual reproduction would not occur. D. Body tissues would not repair themselves. E. The production of gametes would not occur.

I suppose "body tissues would not repair themselves" would be one of the answers I'm not sure about what the other two might be. Mitosis is related to asexual reproduction. Actually, it's dependent on mitosis, so that's another one. As for the third answer... I'm really not sure
only C and D ?
Well, the question asks for three effects. I'm just not sure what the third one is
So the first one would be prophase, then after metaphase is anaphase and telophase, in that order. The final products are the daughter cells
In your own words, tell me: What is Cancer and what does it have to do with cells ?
I guess I'd say that cancer is a condition that comes about when cells fail to self-terminate on schedule and instead multiply at an abnormally high rate, while not serving any useful functions. This results in the growth of tumors which can inhibit other cells' abilities to properly perform their functions
Which of the following do complex organisms use to regenerate body parts? A. mitosis B. translation C. fertilization D. transcription
I think that'd be mitosis, cell replication
do you think it's C ?
DNA replication results in two DNA molecules, A. each with two new strands. B. one with two new strands and the other with two original strands. C. each with one new strand and one original strand. D. each with two original strands.
I think it'd be B, since one strand comes from the original and one strand is a copy
