ZoeyBiocth16:

yea i dont do good with venn diagram

ok well could you get justsaiyn if you can ?

ZoeyBiocth16:

bill533:

@SmokeyBrown

SmokeyBrown:

I think mitosis has 5 phases, while meiosis has 9. In mitosis, daughter cells have the same number of chromosomes as the originals, 46, but in mitosis they only have 23 (if we're talking about humans). Meiosis occurs in reproductive cells, while mitosis occurs in somatic cells. They are both a way for cells to divide, and both result in two daughter cells.

SmokeyBrown:

Scratch that, meiosis results in 4 daughter cells

SmokeyBrown:

And I guess they both have the same "basic" 5 phases?

bill533:

maybe so

bill533:

what else ?

bill533:

i put so far what u wrote out for me to put in place

SmokeyBrown:

Oh, which ones are still missing?

bill533:

that are left same number of chromosomes as original cell divided from reproductive cells daughter cells have 23 chromosomes 2 daughter cells 9 phases

SmokeyBrown:

Yeah, cells from mitosis have the same number of chromosomes as the original cell. Reproductive cells come from meiosis. Cells from meiosis have 23 chromosomes. Both result in two daughter cells. Meiosis has 9 phases.

bill533:

A. Prophase B. Prometaphase C. Metaphase D. Anaphase E. Telophase

bill533:

for each number
