Major math help please (why am i so bad at maf) 1.http://prntscr.com/l78ybe 2.http://prntscr.com/l78zhf 3.http://prntscr.com/l78zq2 4.http://prntscr.com/l790kz 5.http://prntscr.com/l790ur 6.http://prntscr.com/l79685 7.http://prntscr.com/l79hjl 8. http://prntscr.com/l79orp 9.http://prntscr.com/l79pi4
@dude
2. HL relates to `hypotenuse-leg` if you look at the visual you see that the hypotenuses of the triangles are not shown to be congruent. You are infact shown to have vertical angles, meaning that your triangle is proven by ASA.
For 1, which do you think is congruent or not? (for all of dem dat ish)
ok i got it
1 and 2, congruent 1 and 4 congruent 2 and 3 not 3 and 4 not
the reason why 2 and 3 and 3 and 4 is not congruent because look closely at 3, it looks the same as the others but one angle is different than the others
@563blackghost
agreed cx
how bout 3? what do you think are the answers?
ABC and MPN- not, different sizes and there is no such thing as dialation in rigid motions ABC and EGF- no ABC and STU- yes, they are the same EFG-MNP-yes
Nice XD
Now how do you think 4 should be answered?
*heavy sweating*
ok lets se.
you got dis cx
before i start here is the other half of question 3 since its so big http://prntscr.com/l7b0l4
i would disagree with `isoceles triangle theorem`. Since you identifed that `AD = CD (side)`, then `equal right angles (angle)`, and finding by reflexive that BD = BD you would prove the triangle by`SAS Theorem`.
AB = CB would be not by `definition of midpoint` but by `CPCTC` which stands for `Corresponding parts of congruent triangles`. You see you already proved the triangles are equal, so any sides or angles that weren't identified as equal are congruent because we proved the triangle already.
So its sas theroem and cpctc for the second and third blank spaces
yes
does this mean ad and cd is right for the definition of bisector
yup correct cx
okie
for 4. http://prntscr.com/l7ba58 <this is edited
yup looks right to me cx
What would you choose for 5?
my guess is c
wait no, b
nice save cx ye its B.
How would you do 6?
idk where to start :(
Well we are given an angle C. So we start off there, we place the point on C, since we are creating an angle bisector we want to create points on the sides of C. So we first do the last step.
What do you think we do next?
label the intersection arcs
Well the last part includes the labeling of the arcs.
after we do dat, what do we do?
Mmm that would be the 3rd step, we actually would `Place the point of the compass on point D and draw an arc in the interior of the angle` and then do that.
oh.
Now that you have created two intersecting arcs in the angle, what would u do next?
use the straightedge to draw CY
first label the intersection cx
im so bad at this ;-;
and den use the straightedge ;)
ey you got all da others right, you got dis
so it would look like this right? http://prntscr.com/l7bj7y
Yup
Now for 8, how would you name the triangle for congruency?
we gots one more after dis, u gots dis cx
NLJ?
Correct cx
For 9 i think you are correct.
well not think, its right
ok. time to submit *sweats*
moment of truth
*sweats too* how's it looking e.e
I MISSED 1 QUESTION
NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU which one?
T R I G G E R E D
*rolls up sleeves* which es et? which one was wrong? e.e
The one i did by myself.
o-o
the others i did bymyself are right and so is thr ones we worked on together
i see
so im happy that i can now sleep in peace and work on my essay.
well yew did good cx
but before i close this post
mm thanx cx
