lowkey:

What were the causes and effects of the Marbury vs. Madison case?

dude:

Uh, well it resulted in the power for the Supreme Court to use judicial review cause let me check

lowkey:

@Shadow

Shadow:

Literally just google “stuff that the Supreme Court ruled as unconstitutional.” Should come up with legislation and executive orders that they have struck down.

lowkey:

Why are you a moderator

Shadow:

History is literally google. I’m not going to do you work for you.

lowkey:

\(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{Originally Posted by}}\) @Shadow History is literally google. I’m not going to do you work for you. \(\color{#0cbb34}{\text{End of Quote}}\) Yet you help a user with a history assignment.

Shadow:

Yeah I’m telling you what to Google.

lowkey:

And you told her the answers. Boy, are you a hard person to work with.

Shadow:

Anime?

lowkey:

No, Cheeseburger.

dude:

Thats what Ultri asked me a few mins ago

Shadow:

What lol

Shadow:

Anime had to form an argument form information. That was the hard part. I didn’t do that. I just gave her the info. Same thing as posting a link to an article.

Shadow:

see, Elsa googled for you.

Elsa213:

Kuekuekue, ofc. c'x <3

lowkey:

You can give me the info by giving me a link hunny, not telling someone to go look at google.

Shadow:

There are limitless examples that’s why ._.

lowkey:

And there are limitless examples to why you're not helpful right now :D

Shadow:

Elsa’s link only has one example and it’s the case itself, which is the easiest example to note .-.

mhchen:

So I read the article that Shadow posted. It seems like the court case was the " first instance in which a law passed by Congress was declared unconstitutional" which "expanded the power of the Court by establishing its right to overturn acts of Congress," Can you write a cause-effect based on this?

Shadow:

Thanks Chen. I’m going to go eat.

Elsa213:

Yew want tew fite meh, Shadow? e.e

lowkey:

If you see properly, the instructions say causeS and effectS. I'm just saying, it is suprising that you found the simplest most useless site in 10 seconds, usually it takes me around 2. Good job man

mhchen:

Okay so you can write a cause-effect relationship from what I posted up there. I think Elsa's link gave a different cause-effect relationship as well, on how judicial review was established.

mhchen:

You could say the cause of this court ruling expanded the Judicial branch's power, established judicial review, and set a precedent for the judicial branch to declare congress laws unconstitutional.
