The dangerous situation in "After Twenty Years" is that Patrolman Welles is approaching an unknown person standing in a darkened doorway of a business neighborhood that closes early with all the shops quiet and secure.

Best Answer: “Silky” Bob was an innocent man being accused of a crime, and therefore the threat he faces is jail time (making him feel sad angry ashamed ect). Now as frightening as jail sounds I find that Tessie’s situation is much worse. In “The Lottery” Tessie opens her hand to find she has the black spot and that she won the lottery. Normally, winning the lottery is a great thing but in this case it was a grave situation to be stuck in. Tessie in fear for her life and was in danger of being stoned to death. Both stories however, in the end had about the same reaction as one another. “Silky” Bob trembled reading the note from his own friend having him be arrested. Tessie cried out “This isn’t fair, this isn’t right.” Both characters had to face the very thing they feared. “Silky” Bob was arrested and Tessie was stoned. Neither stories had very good endings in my opinion. ^from Yahoo answers

@Elsa213 @AnimeGhoul8863

bill533:

this is has to be written in your own words and they're gonna found out whether it's plagrizing or not

Elsa213:

Nope. However, it's a summary of both stories. It gives you the idea of what's going on. If Anime or I worded this for you, it would still be considered plagiarizing.

bill533:

not if it's in your own words and make it sound like it's not please i need help
