@lowkey
Okay, so first you want to label the points, do you know how to do that?
no i knew at one time
So basically you look at the point and look at the numbers directly above/below it and to the left/right
In this case it was below and to the right, this points would be (-2,2)
oh ok
Can you do it for the other 3 points?
Or do you want me to walk you through it
nah let me try
(2, 2) (6, 5) i think i might be wrong with these two
(2,2) is right (6,5) check again, look down at where the x is and then to the left or right depending on where the point is

(5, 2) (5, -2)
Right
So we have (-2,2) (2,2) (-2,5) (2,5) Now multiply the points by 2 ex. (2,2) => (4,4)
(-2,2) = -4 (2,2) = 4 (-2,5) = -10 (2,5) = 10
They're points so remember you are doing 2 digits per point (-2,2) = (-4,4) (2,2) = (4,4) (-2,5) = (-4,10) (2,5) = (4,10) Okay so now we want to plot the new points
Do you know how to plot (-4,4) (4,4) (-4,10) (4,10)
not exactly
Example for the first point
Look at the first number, move to where that point is Look at the second number, now go up that number of times and that is your point
i put it on desmos and this is what i got
Right
but i don't know how to line those points on desmos
How to connect them?
yes
I know there is a more easier way to do this but https://www.desmos.com/calculator/a7zelsxfik The purple rectangle is the dilated one
oh ok and the black one is the problem we're solving ?
The black one was the original one, just for reference, not the answer
gotcha
should i post the next question
Make a new post
is it like this dude ?
@dude
Right
alright i'll post in a sec
