Who plans on voting (or has already voted)? Why did you? If you don't plan on voting, is there any particular reason?
For those that don't know, the midterm election is on November 6th.
My parents did an early vote, so I wouldn't know who they voted for or why.
My father also did a early vote, I'm too young to vote at this time.
What happens if during a midterm vote, the president didn't get the necessary amount of votes and/or another candidate got more?
It's called a midterm election because it is in the middle of the presidents term. There are not presidential candidates on the ballot.
@AP @photonics @Arcane
Then what's the point of having one
For Congress. The House is up for re-election and one-third of the Senate is up for re-election.
Meeeee, because it's my 2nd time voting. It's fun, andddd I think that's all omo. *Disappears*.
Lowkey aren't you in AP Gov
@Shadow Lol no I've ranted countless amount of times for ap us but ap gov is a senior elective
I do not have enough faith in the system to allow myself to participate.
What state
If you have conservative leanings for example, then I could see voting in a primarily liberal/Democratic state being an obscure prospect. Or if you think the party in charge, or the one that is expected to become in charge, is ineffective, I could see that lowering political efficacy.
