Graphics- computer device or program that makes a computer capable of displaying and manipulating pictures, or the images being displayed
Paint programs-A graphics program that enables you to draw pictures on the display screen
Presentation graphics-A type of business software that enables users to create highly stylized images for slide shows and reports
Animation-A simulation of movement created by displaying a series of pictures, or frames.
CAD software-Stands for Computer Aided Design. A combination of hardware and software that enables engineers and architects to design
Desktop publishing-Using a personal computer or workstation to produce high-quality printed documents
Bitmapped graphics-A technique of displaying images which become jagged when enlarged or shrunk
Resolution-Refers to the sharpness and clarity of an image
Graphics file format-A file format designed specifically for representing graphical images
jpg-Joint Photographic Experts Group, a type of image file effective at reducing file size, at the expense of resolution
gif-graphics interchange format, which supports color and various resolution
png-portable network graphics, a bit-mapped graphics format similar to gif
