Why are wealth and wisdom often presumed to go together?
@AP
Wisdom, in my opinion, is the application of knowledge. You can know that eating an entire cake is bad for you, but it is only wisdom if you apply that knowledge by avoiding that cake like it's a cereal killer.
*cough* cereal bad for you too
I honestly skimmed your question and thought it was health, thus the food analogy, but it still works.
its an english proverb
Poor people usually have made bad life choices. The top three: (1) not graduating high school (2) baby before marriage (3) not getting a job
These are sort of common sense (common knowledge) but wisdom is the application of it. Aka, graduate and don't drop, don't bake cookies in the oven yet, and don't stay home and play Fortnite.
But why are they often presumed to go together
@Shadow
Because typically a wealthy person is wise. That's why they can make more money by writing books, giving advice, and singing the songs of wisdom.
The wealthy apply knowledge to become rich.
Would you find a wise person more trustworthy than a wealthy person?
@Shadow
idk
I think you should answer that one lol
maybe so
