It's obviously not B or C, and I'm leaning towards it being D
Shadow:
Yeah as is a conjunction, pretty sure semicolon wouldn't work. Period doesn't make sense either. You don't need a pause, which can be understood just by reading the sentence out loud. D makes sense.
