This is not true, Marijuana can still damage the lungs. The smoke still contains the same elements as Cigarettes. That's not to say they are entirely bad for you, but they are certainly not great for you either.

all i can say is my moms doctor gave her a card and told her to try it and it stopped her seizure  that she would have 3 times a day or more she smoked weed and she hasnt had a seizure in a while so its helpful not harmful and again NOT ADDICTIVE

Yes, for certain use cases marijuana can help, but it still comes with the same risks as say smoking a cigarette. This is why my personal stance is for medical use it's ok, but for recreational it shouldn't be allowed (and cigarettes shouldn't be allowed period)

I see some misinformation occurring.

1. Weed can be both good and bad for you.
2. It does not cure cancer.
-Just because something is used to ‘help’ with the effects of something, it does not act as a cure. Likewise, there are other side effects besides pain relief, most notably negative consequences for brain development as well as memory and cognitive function.
3. Weed is federally illegal, and thus is technically illegal nationwide. A federal agent catching you smoke weed can technically arrest you. States have their own laws, which means a state police officer cannot arrest you, if the state has legalized it.

That's a bold claim to say Anime, you can neither confirm nor deny if it can or can not at this stage if it can "cure cancer". As it stands Marijuana helps with the side effects of Cancer, not actually the cancer itself. It still comes with the same risks of damaging the lungs, including lung cancer (irony right there). Right now we're not positive if it does, as a lot of research hasn't been done yet, but so many of the same chemicals that you would get in Tobacco smoke is still present in Marijuana smoke, meaning chances are high of this. What we do know is that it can cause other complications the same as Tobacco.
