lolthisisgay:

A store charges $8.95 for an 8 ounce jar of maple syrup. The price for a 10 ounce jar of the same brand is $12.00. Which jar is the better buy? What is the difference in the unit prices? If necessary, round to the nearest cent.

WhipStreak23:

It's basically dividing... 8.95/8 = 1.12 12/10 = 1.2 The $8.95 deal is the better one since it only has $1.12 per oz while the $10 deal has 8 cents more per oz

Razor:

I would help out too but @WhipStreak23 basically had it so GOOD JOB and welcome tew yew bothz ^-^ @lolthisisgay
