@Vocaloid
any ideas? "that was written" gives us more information about which noun?
also, this isn't a fool-proof rule, but in general it's good practice to put adjective or other modifiers near the word being modified, so that's another technique to identify what's being modified
im not suree
im thinking B
good attempt, but in this case "classic" is an adjective that modifies "poem" "that was written" tells us more about the poem, right? so poem would be the modified word
I think so too
11 is good, I'm honestly not sure about 10
not 100% sure on this, but since "that used to sit..." modifies the word "couch" it would be an adjective phrase not an adverb phrase
so is it wrong?
14 is good
13 I believe would be adjective clause since its modifying the noun couch
uhh i'm a little rusty on that vs which but I believe those are correct
still rusty on these but for 25 I believe the second choice is a better choice; the dash shows an interrupted thought, where he was going to say what he was going to do, but decided to keep it a secret for 26 + 27 i believe there needs to be two dashes, one on each side of the phase, rather than just 1
so 26 D
and 27 B
hm, no, the phrase is "before cars existed" so 26 would be A 27 is B, yes
