threeohg:

Which event occurs in photosystem I? Water molecules are broken apart. Light energy excites electrons. Oxygen is released as waste. Electrons are transferred to ferredoxin.

AP:

It's all in the name "photosystem" in which "photo" usually indicates something to do with "light", and in photosystem I, light is absorbed and in turn electrons react.

AP:

Not exactly...

AP:

What do you think @threeohg

bonez:

nvm its D

AP:

Thanks for eliminating C.) And D.) for us @bonez lol

bonez:

boy its d

bonez:

thanks for trying to be a know it all @AP

bonez:

the answer it D

AP:

It's not D.)

bonez:

bet kiddo

AP:

The initial reaction in photosystem I begins with light energy causing electrons to react which in turn transferred to ferredoxin.

bonez:

you can say what you want but the answer is still gonna be "D" Mah Dude

bonez:

bruh do the research and then answer the question not whatever is at the top of your head thx :)

AP:

Although I didn't need to (: "The heart of photosystem I is an electron transfer chain.... These cofactors convert the energy from light into energy that the cell can use. The two chlorophyll molecules at the bottom capture the light first. When they do, an electron is excited into a higher energy state..." https://pdb101.rcsb.org/motm/22

bonez:

the answer is still D kiddo
