Are only Crunchy foods are better with salt? Is there any 'soft or mushy' foods that are better when it's salty? I had a random thought that usually only crunchy foods like crackers/chips/fried vegetables are better when salted. Prove me wrong.

Shelbs4430:

I think all food is better with salt

Vocaloid:

omelettes or other egg-based dishes perhaps

mhchen:

@Shelbs4430 Doughnuts/Desserts are better when they're sweet rather than salty. @Vocaloid Omeletts are fried so they're more solid. I know there's egg-soups but I don't think people put salt in them

mhchen:

LEL salted watermelon? That's gotta be some dare

lowkey:

French fries

AP:

Off the top of my head ~ Mashed potatoes Pastas Noodles Rice Baked beans

mhchen:

@lowkey They're fried potatoes. I'd put anything that's fried as more crunchier than it was originally. @AP Mashed Potatoes is actually a good one but in the potato family the chips are definitely more salted. I don't think noodles/pastas are heavily salted though. Nor rice but I know fried rice is salted. I'm not sure about baked beans.
