PLS HELP!! What is the domain and range for the following function and its inverse? f(x) = -x + 5

eviant:

@dude

dude:

Well I assume you know the domain and range for a linear function

dude:

Like the last question, to find the inverse, flip the x and y and solve for y \(x=-y+5\) Solve for y

eviant:

y=5-x

dude:

Right Both have the same domain and range

Linear functions go on forever unless otherwise directed ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

those are the answers

dude:

I just said it goes on forever xD Which is the only one that has a domain and range that goes on forever?

eviant:

b

dude:

Uh if that is all real numbers for both then its right, idk which is B

eviant:

yep thanks
