@Hero

Hero:

You have the entire statement completely backwards.

theghost22:

so the -7 goes before the -2

Hero:

Its not just that. You cannot use greater than symbols as an AND statement.

theghost22:

Oh wait hold on I realised my mistake

theghost22:

\[-2<w <-7\]

theghost22:

That's what its supposed to look like right?

Hero:

Actually, I take that back. The -7 and -2 need to be switched.

theghost22:

Ok so what does it need to look like?

Hero:

I just told you.

theghost22:

the -7 goes before the -2?

Hero:

You should do a better job of understanding what you are reading. When you write AND statements as inequalities you can only write them in the form $a \le x \le b$ and $a < b$

Hero:

\(a \le x \le b\) and \(a < b\)

theghost22:

Hold on I'm confused it isn't greater or equal to

Hero:

Yes, the point is you can only use \(a < x < b\) or \(a \le x \le b\) when writing AND inequality statements and \(a < b\)

Hero:

If you don't get it after that, then not sure if I can continue helping you.

theghost22:

Ok so my answer is going to be -7<w<-2

theghost22:

Cause based on what I'm seeing you saying that should be my answer

theghost22:

Hero:

Yes correct
