Is it as simple as a distance formula then double it. As in times it by 2.

You could do that, but it's a bit unorthodox.

You'd have to follow the identified slopes between the endpoint and the midpoint to find the other endpoint.

If you do it my way, as I explained on the question you posted a week ago, it's simple algebra.
