calc help @vocaloid

jhonyy9:

first of all you need to know what mean critical point for an expression with variable inside radical - do you know it ?

@Vocaloid

Vocaloid:

@hero if you're not too busy would you mind taking a look at this? I have work to do

Hero:

What? I've got work to do as well

Vocaloid:

Oh. sorry :/

Vocaloid:

alright I have some spare time now 1. just identify where the graph is increasing, is concave down (hint: the graph starts off concave up then at a certain point, the inflection point, changes to being concave down

Vocaloid:

2. to find the critical points, take the derivative of that function and set it equal to 0. solving for x will give you your critical points

Vocaloid:

3. same logic for critical points b) for relative extrema, find where the derivative is equal to 0 c) for inflection points, find where the second derivative is equal to 0

Vocaloid:

4. uh I think you might want to graph this one and just see where the absolute extrema are 6. take the derivative of both sides wrt t and solve for dx/dt after plugging everything else in

Vocaloid:

I think(?) for 9 you should apply L'hopital's 8. ehh I honestly forgot, I'd have to re-teach myself this later 10. just look up the definition of L'hope's and re-state in your own words

kaylak:

1 It increases from -1 to 1 then from 1-3 unless it’s looking for increasing up the y axis then from 1-3

kaylak:

Hey I figured out some but I need help still

kaylak:

I need help with 1
