note samples w/ some advice here and there
the staggered arrangement is cool I just wish I was a bit more careful about those streaks at the top of the notecards
using gridded notebooks makes this look a lot neater than it actually is haha
attempt at a black & white theme
this is more of a framing tip than a penmanship tip, but changing up the angle and adding props around the outside can add visual interest
generally pen looks much better on camera than pencil does (used a pilot G-2 07 for this one). just be careful because the thicker the lines are, the more likely they are to smear (can see a bit of smearing on the bottom right)
usually I use an outline format but if you have a subject with a lot of inter-connected terms, you may want to use a mindmap format, which shows how pieces of information are related to each other. for example, the main topic is thermodynamics, which has the sub-categories First, Second, and Third Laws of Thermodynamics. Under "First Law" are the sub-categories heat and work, etc.
blank vs lined vs grid paper
usually I use lined paper when there's mostly text/words, blank paper when it's mostly diagrams and I want a bit more organizational freedom, and grid paper when I have both and want the overall page to look cohesive
