Shadow:

Think, point C has the same elevation (y) as point B (which is why they have c already inputted for y). What about the x coordinate? This one requires some spatial thinking.

Tinkerbell:

A+B/2?

Shadow:

Close but no

Tinkerbell:

,_,

Shadow:

http://prntscr.com/lr97wf That is (a + b)/2

Tinkerbell:

a-b/2?

Shadow:

So we added the x coordinate of B which is a, and went all the way to where B was. Then we added the x coordinate of D, and went a little bit further. Dividing it by 2 made us half that distance. We almost had it...

Tinkerbell:

So is it a-b/2?

Shadow:

These feel like guesses

Tinkerbell:

50/50

Shadow:

Look at my screenshot..

Shadow:

The first vector (arrow) is a. The second vector is b.

Shadow:

Look where a + b got us

Shadow:

and then look up at where C is

Shadow:

We just needed the x coordinate of C

Tinkerbell:

just a+b?
