Lmao okay so there's the bridge and you have to add a road to hang weights either top or bottom of the bridge.
Would adding a road on the top be better than the bottom

Well, roads don't usually go on the top of a bridge. Also you may want it as low as possible so that if it breaks, there is less PE to be converted into sound.
