so via ASA you can prove that triangles MXA and HXT are congruent: angle A with angle T, side AX with side XT, and angle AXM with angle TXH (vertical angle theorem)

because MXA and HXT are congrument, you can then prove that segment MX is congruent to segment HX because corresponding sides of congruent figures are equal
