any idea ? for example the function f(x)=x => for x=0 the y=0 too yes ? so for f(x)=x+2 => for x=0 the y=2 what mean that the graph is shifted 2 units up from origin what case was in the first example so after these examples how you think how many need being k to shift down the graph 3 units ?
