You are told by your doctor that you only have four months left to live. What do you do? A. Get Chemotherapy B. Curse God And Die C. Clean Up A Creek D. Go crazy on a Health Food-eating Binge E. Something Else
What are we dying from?
Only you and your doctor knows
What is "Something else"? e.e Just whatever we choose, or?
Yes.
E. Who said I was dying of cancer, cursing god doesn’t help anything, cleaning up a creek would be nice but kind of a waste of my four months, and eating healthy is stupid. I’d rather party all night, do dares, and have the best four months of my life.
Actually....@lowkey https://www.upworthy.com/given-4-months-to-live-he-cleaned-up-a-creek-then-spent-27-years-being-an-eco-hero?c=upw1
i would probally say all of the above i would get chemotherapy that would probally help , but then praise god that i get to live as long as i do, clean up a creek to be a good person and because i respect the environment and because it could possibly be the last thing i do, i would also eat heathy because the doctor may have said i had 4 yrs but he has no clue how long i really have to live so eating heathly is good for my body. that is what i would do if that happen to me but thats me.
You said "all of the above" which includes B. So you've blasphemed God and you're dead.
LMAOOOOOOOO
Highly subjective, imo. Depends on an individual's ultimate goal. If I want to prolong my morality, then diet, exercise, and medical help would take a good portion of those four months. If I'm striving for some kind of fulfillment in life, then I'd consider turning to family, spending time with them, giving back to the community, heck, even volunteer at a hospital, or crossing out things from my bucket list lol. If I'm pious, then I'd find myself praying, just in gratitude and resignation for what blessings I do have. Since curing this illness is not in my circle of control, I couldn't dwell on blasphemy and cursing the Divine.
There's a lot of satisfaction in doing whatever it is that you can to battle circumstances such as this, but there's also peace in surrendering to them.
Join the army and become a suicide bomber in my last week of living
I agree with lowkey and aps answer
@TGP, the goal is not to agree with any answer, but rather, to share your OWN unique thoughts regarding this particular scenario.
They already posted what I was thinking, sir uwu
I would problably do "c" because I think that if im going to go out I might as well do it well.
That's what someone decided to do and they lived 27 years longer than expected.
That's a rarity though.
I agree. Whoever that was really loved a creek that was nearby his residence.
He probably could have lived much longer had he adopted a more healthy lifestyle
