The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra states that for any polynomial of degree n, the polynomial has n total roots—both real and complex.
Is this necessary to learn? Is it helpful in the real world? I want to hear your opinions. Write simply just want to know if what I wrote above is helpful in real life don't use college level writing.
@jhonyy9 @Hero
@dude @Vocaloid
thank you
I learn polynomials in my normal class but I want to know why "The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra states that for any polynomial of degree n, the polynomial has n total roots—both real and complex.The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra states that for any polynomial of degree n, the polynomial has n total roots—both real and complex." is useful to learn because people fund the honors standard and I learn that specific thing above in honors so is it useful does it matter? lol just write something simpler and short it can be kind of long if you want.
The link I gave you is more than enough to answer your question.
but that talks about normal polynomials problems
I'm talking about that specific theorem that I wrote which can only be learned in honors standards. People fund the honors standards so is it useful to learn that.
I thought you were looking for applications of polynomials.
no. So for example The polynomial has n total roots both real and complex since the degree of that polynomial is n. Does that help the student in real life? If they want to be an engineer does it help them build faster, make the bridge or rollercoaster safer or sturdier? Or is it worthless that the honors student learned that theorem and the honors curriculum shouldn't exist.
I think you should go into engineering for yourself and find out by way of self-discovery.
lol I can't I'm not old enough
or maybe a better example could be would that theorem help them in their college career in the future?
your opinion doesn't have to be too long.
just write what you think
I think it would be best for you to do your own research regarding this particular matter.
ok
but I don't understand how this theorem would be helpful so I was wondering if you did I have half of my letter written but I need more.
If a student was going to college and trying to become a doctor maybe a surgeon would this help?
or an engineer
@Hero @woolyfrog just my opinion and than i remember it right from my universíty study so there i ve learned that aproximatly in every cases of math conjecture ,theorem ,... when we wan getting a basicaly formula so we need using the ,,last" expression with n sides
So if knowing "the polynomial has n total roots both real and complex" does that help with anything in real life? Or is it not useful. Whichever one it is it will be good.
