The sum of two squares can be factored using complex numbers:
a2 + b2 = (a + bi)(a − bi)

You can only learn this in the honors course. Is this helpful in real life in anyway? Will students in high school benefit from this in college? I need other peoples opinions thanks :) you don't have to answer those specific questions but any help is good.
