katkit25:

what is 1,000,000,000,000 multiplied by 1,000,000,000,000 =

Valirium:

1

Hero:

@Valirium she said multiply not divide

Valirium:

I know xD

Hero:

It would be much easier to do this if you converted it to scientific notation.

Hero:

@katkit25

kittybasil:

hint: \[10\times10=100\] 100 is \(10^2\) as there are two zeroes...

to multiply values of 1 followed by zero: `you combine the zeroes.` (there are 12 btw, so it is \(10^{12}\))
which means 1 trillion squared (to the second power)...\[(1,000,000,000,000 )^{2}=(10^{12})^{2}\]

kittybasil:

exponentials to another exponential: you `multiply` the exponents. so it would become:\[\Large{10^{(12\times2)}=10^{24}}\] Or you can click this link here.

Nevey:

lets make this simple .-. its 1 followed by a ton of 0s. your welcome .-. XD

katkit25:

thank you
